The Vision of the Orange County Education Foundation is to support scholarship and advancement for the teachers and students of the schools in Orange County, Virginia.

Our Mission is to build a community partnership among schools, families, and businesses to provide resources, inspire innovation, and enhance opportunities for teachers and students of the schools of Orange County, Virginia.

OCEF Launches 2024-2025 Teacher Innovation Grants Program

Over the past decade, the Orange County (Virginia) Education Foundation (OCEF) has awarded over $65,000 in dedicated Teacher Innovation Grants (TIGs) to dozens of Orange County (OC) teachers! Grants are awarded at all 4 education levels based on teacher applications and evaluation by a dedicated TIG Awards committee. This year, we are aiming at an expansion of our TIG program.

2023-24 Teacher Innovation Grants Awarded

As in past years, the Orange County Education Foundation made its 2023-24 TIG awards directly to our teachers as the teachers were teaching! Thanks to our contributors, we were able to award a total of $11,100 in 8 separate grants to our deserving OC teachers.

Celebration of Education 2023

The Orange County Education Foundation held its 2023 Celebration of Education on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Pavilion at Lakeland Farm. The event honored current Orange County Educator, Laurie Jamerson, and the President of the Orange County High School Alumni and Friends Foundation, Bill Hager.
